Congratulations to Elaine Turner!

Congratulations to our dear and fashionable friend Elaine! Elaine Turner was announced a 2011 Women's Chamber of Commerce Texas Business Woman of The Year finalist at the Take Charge Live Conferrence in Austin. This awared is an amazing feat for our lovely Elaine. The Texas Business Woman of the Year is given to business professionals and owners who go above and beyond are the motivating force for young female entrepreneurs across Texas. Seriously, some people call this the Academy Awards for business women, it is such an amazing award to receive. Elaine said that "It is an honor to be a finalist. I hope my story will be a catalyst for innovation among a new generation of Texas entrepreneurs." From the FashionABLES, we say congrats Elaine!

Feretti + AmEx = LOVE!

For those of you with an AmEx card, this is for you. I got an email the other day from their rewards zone section, usually I delete them buuuuut thank god I read this one! It said that because I have an AmEx I can go see Alberta Ferretti at Tootsies on Westheimer in Houston next Wednesday, December 7, from 6-8. There will be cocktails and then after that you get to see Alberta Ferretti's Spring/Summer 2012 collections before they are seen by other poeple!!! After the show Alberta Ferretti herself and Hal Rubenstein, InStyle magazine's fashion director, will just be talking about fashion. I don't know about any of you but I am dying to go to this. Fashionista Fashion Week!

Hometown fashionistas Elaine Turner and Chloe Dao have partnered up for Houston Fashion Week! I am so excited!! Elaine Turner handbags and shoes with Chloe Dao's beautiful designs this will sure be something you can't miss, especially since the show will debut Elaine Turner's Spring 2012 collection!A little bit of information on Houston Fashion Week is that it will be at the Wortham Theater Center at 501 Texas Avenue on October 12th at 8 pm! Can't wait for this to happen, see you there!

Breast Cancer's a Wrap!

Breast Cancer is a wrap at Elaine Turner! For breast cancer awareness month Elaine Turner designed a wrap bracelet! It is super cute and 100% of the profits are going to the Nellie B. Connally Breast Cancer Center at MD Anderson. This year it is especially important to Elaine becuase her mother is currently being treated at MD Anderson. It is a lipstick pink color with her signature crown rivets. It is an adorable addition to any outfit and it is just $55!! It is time for one FashionABLE girl to bust out her wallet and buy a breast cancer wrap bracelet for herself...and her sister...and her mom..... I can't help myself! Be sure to check it out!
