The Children's Assessment Center (CAC) of Houston helps sexually-abused children and their families in a professional, compassionate, and coordinated approach. The organization also offers the most comprehensive resources for victims of child sexual abuse and serves as an advocate for all children in the community.
Note: April is "national child-abuse prevention" month.

Actually, it's food. Delicious, gorgeous looking food surrounded by fabulous pictures -- so fabulous that I literally reach out and try to pick the strawberries of my computer screen -- and words that make my mind buzz, savoring each whispered syllable like popping fresh blueberries into my mouth.
Our friend, co-creative and fab photographer Julie Soefer (see Elaine Turner Spring 2010 Campaign) called attention to T'afia's new website, which led us to monicaSPEAK, T'afia owner and chef Monica Pope's blog. It is at the least a delightful read, satisfying a number of senses, aside from my hunger which is steadily growing, and until I get to a kitchen or T'afia, I can do nothing about!
