Little Miss Fashionista Meets Her Style Icon (No, Aside From Me)!

 

Can we take a second to appreciate what is happening here?? First, We have a teenybopper so fashion-forward that she drags her mother to Nordstrom just to see Fred Allard, Creative Director of Nine West and Eric Daman give a trend presentation and meet and greet for the Nine West exclusive for Nordstrom debut. That takes a bit of obsession, considering there wasn't much media until after the event. Second, we have a mini-Blair a la Gossip Girl, standing next to famed Gossip Girl costume designer, Eric Daman. Third, I mean, how adorable is she?! And what a threat she is going to be as she gets older...especially after the quintessential style and life advice Eric offers up just because she is so damn precious! Amanda Conrad from Pin Oak Middle, we LOVE you and deem you our most fashionABLE tween. Oh! But whatever will you do when you finally watch your Tivo'd episodes of GG later this week. So much drama for your favorite characters, Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, played by Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. Teen hearts a flutter!

Seriously, it is so much easier getting dressed in the morning. Taking a hint from Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman's new book, You Know You Want It, I started my morning pulling clothes out of my closet to fit the persona of the woman I wanted to exude today. Given my crazy growing list of various tasks, I was feeling very European traveler meets writer meets laid back and fresh scrubbed chick on the go. Not only did it take me literally only five minutes to get my outfit together, it looked pretty, propped out on my bed, too.
